  • Powerful, substantial, athletic mare with a classic Arabian head

TF Samara is a very strong, athletic mare that will make an excellent endurance horse. She is the perfect choice for a competitive middleweight rider. She completed 2 AERC Limited Distance rides carrying a middleweight rider and in 2007 she completed 2 LDs with a lightweight rider. She is so powerful and substantial that she carries a middleweight rider with ease. Samara has one of the largest hindquarters you will ever see on an Arabian, perfect for climbing hills and producing a lot of speed on the flat. This mare is an Alpha mare in the pasture and will not quit on you in a ride. She has a lot of heart. She eats and drinks great at rides too, but needs to be fed separately, because she will eat all of her food and then eat everyone else’s too.

She was bred and raised at an Arabian Racing Breeding Farm and trained by a professional Arabian Endurance trainer. (She has not been on the track or had race training.) After completing the limited distance rides, her owner decided to postpone her endurance career until after he had a chance to breed her. In 2005 and 2006 she produced fillies by our stallion, Envoy BBF. You can see her 2005 filly, HSC Phoenix on our foal page. Phoenix was named Reserve Champion as a yearling in 2006 at the Region 9 Sport Horse Championships in the 2 and under Jackpot. It was her first time to show.

Samara was a good mother and would make an excellent broodmare for someone wanting to breed strong athletic horses with a beautiful classic Arabian head. Her pedigree is filled with famous horses. Take a look at her pedigree and you will see:
