| Swarovski was named after the
Austrian Gem by the same name and he is a true gem -
although his barn name is Skeeter. Skeeter is a really
fun horse. He gallops or trots to you when you call
him in the pasture and always seems eager to be with
you or go for a ride. He was started in professional
training in January of this year and is currently being
ridden by a 15 yr old girl in weekly Dressage lessons.
He clips, hauls, bathes, and stands in cross ties for
tacking up and the farrier. We believe he will make
an excellent Sport Horse or Endurance prospect. He is
already 15.2, with 9'' cannon bones in the rear and
8 1/4'' cannon bones in the front. Skeeter has a big
long strided trot, great for endurance, Country English
Pleasure, Hunter or Dressage. He naturally lifts up
into a rocking chair show ring ring canter. He is very
well behaved and easy to handle. He has learned the
basics very quickly and has also been started on the
trail. He is Breeders Sweepstakes Nominated and the
Half-Arabian IAHA Endurance Championships should be
a breeze for this horse. His sire, Bask Flame, (sired
by Bask) recently deceased, was near the top of the
''Leading Sires'' lists for many years - producing 32
purebred National winners in English, Country English,
hunter pleasure and western classes. |
