CCR Q, called “Que” or “Quie”, is a beautiful, affectionate child’s show horse. He has perfect ground manners, is used to the busy show ring environment and has a wonderful hunter type trot. Q is 14.2 ½” tall, the perfect height for a child to groom, tack up and mount on their own. He is also a nice height for a petite woman. Although he has been shown walk-trot 10& under, he is not a horse for a child that is timid or has never ridden before, because he does have a big forward moving trot. But, he would be a good choice for a beginning rider or child that is working with a trainer. He would also make a very nice first horse for someone that has been taking lessons and is ready to move up from their lesson horse to a horse of their own. The young girl that owns him learned a lot on him and now rides flat seat with a double bridle very well. She is ready to move up to a horse that will help her meet her goal of showing at the National Championships in English Pleasure. Que had 3 months training with Sarah Strobe, then spent 18 months in training with Jane Earle, a Dallas trainer specializing in coaching young children for the show ring.
Que is a wonderful forward moving horse with a big horse stride that is really fun to ride. He would be a really fun horse to ride on the trail. His big smooth flowing trot would also make him a good candidate for endurance for a featherweight or lightweight rider. He would also make a wonderful horse for a petite mom and daughter wanting a “shared horse” or for a woman that just wants a well trained, affectionate, beautiful horse to enjoy and ride for fun. His current owners are most concerned that Que go to a loving family that will care for him and appreciate him the way they have.
