Brandy Alexander is a stunning, athletic buckskin that will really make the judges and your competitors look twice. The Half Arab, Half Morgan cross is well known for being intelligent and athletic and Alex is an outstanding example of this great cross. Alex had 6 months of professional training by Travis Braden, one of the top Arabian show ring trainers in Region IX who qualifies his top horses every year for the Arabian National Championships. He is very well trained. He will stop on a dime from any gait, neck reins, side passes and will go from a slow western pleasure jog trot to a big extended working trot with ease. He has a smooth canter and is really a pleasure to ride. Alex could easily be trained for working western events, such as reining, working cow horse, team penning or sorting. We also all agree that he has the size and fluid movement of a Sport Horse and could easily be trained for Hunter, Dressage, Endurance or Competitive Trail. Alex loads and hauls easily, even in a 2-horse straight load trailer. He has very good ground manners and will stand tied quietly. We have also found that horses that have been shown as yearlings are more at ease when you take them to their first show as a performance horse. Alex is ready and waiting to move on to his next career.
