Spirit of Texas Arabians is an Arabian training facility owned and managed by Hank and Selena Copeland, located at the LBJ National Grasslands near Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas.

WE HAVE MOVED to our new location June 1st 2010. We are very excited about having 75 miles of equestrian trails on the LBJ National Grasslands on the other side of our gate. It is a perfect location for training trail and endurance horses.

Our focus is on Combined Training of the horse and rider to help you and your horse build a true partnership based on trust and confidence. We specialize in basic training from initial groundwork, through first saddling to the development of a safe, athletic horse for endurance riding, competitive trail and safe, fun trail riding. You will be included in all aspects of your horse's training. All of our horses are cross-trained for either reining or dressage and riders are coached to develop a centered balanced seat and proper cues. Horse and rider teams in endurance training will have an individualized conditioning program established and be coached through their first endurance rides.

We have also had great success at finding that perfect match between a beautiful, athletic Arabian or Half-Arabian and a new owner looking for a special horse that they can be proud of and really bond with - their once in a lifetime versatile Arabian. Standing Envoy BBF++ , 1998 and 1999 Texas Accredited Race Colt of the Year. Envoy has also proven himself in the show ring as a Region 9 Top 5 Sport Horse in Hand, Region 9 Top 5 Halter Stallion and a Champion Hunter Pleasure horse. He is now competing in endurance.
